Volunteering for NOA

NOA is largely run by volunteers for the local community. The volunteer team is diverse and extremely friendly.

NOA is able to offer all it does because of the generosity of the volunteers who help out in the following areas.

The Welcome Desk: Staffed by helpers doing two-hour shifts, weekly or fortnightly.

The Coffee Bar: Staffed by helpers doing two-hour shifts, weekly or fortnightly.

Welcome Desk Volunteers Needed

The Welcome Desk at the Diamond Place Community Centre is run by volunteers on 2-hour shifts weekly or fortnightly.

Volunteers provide a friendly greeting, check room bookings and answer queries.

Coffee Bar Volunteers Needed

The coffee bar at the Diamond Place Community Centre is run by volunteers on a 2-hour shift once a week or more. Volunteers serve snacks and drinks through the hatch to passers-by or to people who prefer to come in and sit in the sunny coffee bar area. Training will be given.

Committee Members

There are plenty of opportunities to become involved in the planning and development of NOA. If you are interested in joining as a committee member on one of NOA's committees, please get in touch.

Newcomers with enthusiasm and energy are very welcome.
